Fuelled by a passion to be independent, from upping sticks and moving to a self-sustainable homestead in mid-Wales to building his own tracks, Dan Atherton is no stranger to hard graft.
It’s all very well going out to ride, but you need something to ride on and you need something to push your limits day in, day out.
His latest creation was an intensive six-week build that culminated in the world's best downhillers racing down the world's hardest racetrack for Red Bull Hardline.
