Free Leffen

In the tournament world of Super Smash Brothers Melee, five players have dominated the game to the point of distinction, exclusively winning every major tournament from 2008-2014. Known as the “Five Gods of Melee," their continuing reign seemed all but guaranteed. But one player from Sweden was determined to break through: William “Leffen” Hjelte. From 2014-2015, Leffen beat every member of the seemingly impenetrable Top 5 — but now his career is in jeopardy. En route to US major tournament The Big House 5 in October 2015, Leffen was deported, and his subsequent Visa request denied. This is the story of his journey back. Follow Leffen as he travels through Canada, competing against the best and attempting to once again stake his claim to the title "God Slayer."
