The world's top street snowboarders will compete in Pittsburgh, Minneapolis and Boston for an epic display of talent led by style and riding icon, Zeb Powell.

For the first time ever, Red Bull Heavy Metal is coming to the Steel City to see who can dominate the rails and earn a trip to face the pros in Boston!

Red Bull Heavy Metal is a single day snowboarding contest featuring the most progressive rail riding in the world. On Saturday, January 31st, Red Bull Heavy Metal will be hosting an open qualifier in Pittsburgh. The event will feature top amateur street snowboarders hitting a challenging city rail for their chance to earn their way to the Red Bull Heavy Metal final in Boston. Viewing for the Jan 31st event is free. Those applicants who are chosen to compete will be notified by no later than January 24th.

Location: The course is located out front of Acrisure Stadium. Festivities will start around 12:00pm with the event kicking off at 1:00pm. Awards will be held at approximately 4:00pm.
