OFFICIAL RULES
THIS PROMOTION IS DESIGNED AS A SKILL COMPETITION. WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW. USE CAUTION AND COMMON SENSE WHEN PARTICIPATING IN THIS COMPETITION. RESPECT AND ENSURE THE SAFETY OF YOURSELF AND OTHERS.
THERE IS A FEE TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS COMPETITION.
THIS COMPETITION IS AN IN-PERSON EVENT. ANYONE FEELING SICK, WITH A TEMPERATURE AT OR ABOVE 100.4° F, OR WITH KNOWLEDGE THEY HAVE BEEN IN CONTACT WITH SOMEONE WITH COVID-19 SHOULD STAY HOME AND FOLLOW CDC GUIDANCE AND LOCAL HEALTH & SAFETY REGULATIONS AND GUIDANCE WHERE ANY EVENT IN THIS COMPETITION TAKES PLACE TO PREVENT THE SPREAD OF COVID-19. FACE MASKS AND SOCIAL DISTANCING REQUIRED FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS. PARTICIPANTS SHALL COMPLY WITH ALL ON-SITE SAFETY PROTOCOLS. PERSONS DEVELOPING OR EXHIBITING SYMPTOMS OF COVID-19 OR BREAKING SAFETY PROTOCOLS MAY BE DENIED ENTRANCE TO AND/OR DISQUALIFIED FROM AN EVENT AND SENT HOME.
ELIGIBILITY: Red Bull Railer Coaster (the “Event”) will be held on March 19, 2022 at Loon Mountain Resort in Lincoln, New Hampshire. The time shall be determined by Sponsor’s timekeeping systems. Sponsor shall have the sole discretion in determining the timeliness of any action or inaction related to this Event.
The Event consists of a race course where participants will compete for the fastest race time and the best tricks on during such run. The Event is open to (i) legal residents of the United States; (ii) who are 16 years of age or older as of the date of entry; and (iii) who have paid the registration fee and completed all registration requirements. Employees of Red Bull North America, Inc. (“Sponsor”) and its respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising agencies, public relations agencies, prize suppliers, including any vendors providing services in connection with this Event (collectively, the “Sponsor Affiliates”), and employees, agents, directors, officers (including members of their immediate family – i.e., spouse, mother, father, in-laws, grandmother, grandfather, brother, sister, children and grandchildren – or those living in the same household) of Sponsor or any Sponsor Affiliates are not eligible to participate in the Event. Event is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
By entering and/or participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and Sponsor’s Privacy Policy as set forth in these Official Rules. If you are a minor in your jurisdiction of residence, a legal guardian must complete any required documentation on your behalf and be present on-site for your participation in the Event.
HOW TO ENTER: To register to participate in the Event, visit the Red Bull Railer Coaster website (www.redbull.com/railercoaster) (the “Website”) between February 18, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. EST and March 18, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. EST, complete the registration form with all required information, and pay the required entry fee.
There are four divisions of competition (each a “Division”):
- Amateur Men’s (age 16+)
- Amateur Women’s (age 16+)
- Open Men’s (age 18+)
- Open Women’s (age 18+)
Participants may register until March 18, 2022, or when registration for reaches the first 20 participants in each Division completing registration. After the Event has reached registration capacity, and at Sponsor’s sole discretion, additional registrations may be available on a waitlist.
EVENT and PRIZES:
During the Event, registered competitors will compete in the Event as scheduled in Sponsor’s sole discretion. Each participant will have two (2) opportunities to race the course.
The Event will be timed by Sponsor and the entrant’s tricks performed during their run will judged by a panel selected in Sponsor’s sole discretion (the “Judging Panel”). The Judging Panel will judge the competitors based on the following criteria (“Judging Criteria”) as follows: (a) Speed; and (b) Style.
Points can be earned as riders mix tricks and style into their overall run over the designated features on the Event course that are differentiated from the banked turns. Features may range from rails, boxes and snow transitions that can be scored by judges on a total run score of 0–5 points in half point increments. The highest total score that can be achieved is 15 points per run.
For each 5 style/trick points scored, 1 second will be deducted from the overall time, with the max time deducted from overall course time being 3 seconds.
To be clear, the Judging Panel may review multiple entries that submit similar entries; in such a case, the judges may consider the timing of such entries in making its decision but will not be bound to designate as a potential winner the first submission of such similar entries. The selected winner is subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules.
WINNER SELECTION
The winners will be determined based on (1) the finish time in the race; and (2) the Judging Panel’s score. The total “adjusted race time” is a combination of the race time and Judging Panel’s score.
The Judging Panel’s scores for each competitor will reduce such competitor’s overall time to arrive at a final “adjusted race time” as set forth in Appendix A, attached hereto.
The top three (3) fastest adjusted race times in each Division will be declared the winners.
In the event of a tie within the top three (3) scores in a Division, the tied entrants will compete in a tie-breaking race scored in the same manner as the main race event. The higher scoring tied entrant will be declared the winner, and the overall placements will be adjusted accordingly.
PRIZES:
The top three (3) scores in the Event in each Division will receive the following prizes:
- 1st – 3rd place finishers will each receive one (1) custom trophy, $20 Circle K gift card, various items of snow gear.
- Approximate retail value of each prize package: $320

ADDITIONAL PRIZE TERMS:
All prizes are awarded “AS IS.” Neither Sponsor nor Sponsor Affiliates make or offer any warranty or guarantee, either express or implied (including, without limitation, quality, merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose) in connection with this Event or any prize. No issuer of any offered prize is sponsoring this Event. Prize details and availability are subject to change, in which case a prize of equal value may be substituted at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Prizes consist only of the items listed, are non-transferable, with no cash redemption or substitution except at Sponsor's sole discretion. Sponsor will determine all prize details in its sole discretion. Federal, state, or local taxes on prizes, if any, and any other costs, fees or expenses not listed above are the sole responsibility of each winner.
WINNER NOTIFICATION/RELEASES: Potential Prize winners will be notified at the end of the Event. Potential winner must respond to the notification message within one (1) hour of the first contact or attempted contact from Sponsor or the potential prize may be forfeited. To claim any prize, Sponsor may require winner(s) to complete, sign, and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Liability Release/Publicity Release forms and other applicable documents, which may require a social security number and may need to be notarized, before claiming and prize. All required documents must be completed and returned to Sponsor within five (5) days of the date and time listed on the documents. At Sponsor’s discretion, winner(s) may be required to produce picture or some other form of proper identification to claim any prize. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute any prize with prize of equal or greater value. If a potential winner cannot be contacted, fails to timely claim the prize, is disqualified, fails to timely execute and return any required forms, or if the prize notification is returned as undeliverable, Sponsor may select an alternate winner from among the remaining eligible entries or an alternate winner may be selected by another method as solely determined by Sponsor. If a winner is otherwise eligible under these Official Rules, but is deemed a minor in his or her jurisdiction of primary residence, the prize may be awarded in the name of winner’s parent or legal guardian who will be required to execute, sign, and return an affidavit of eligibility, a liability waiver (where legal), and where allowable, a publicity release on minor’s behalf. If by reason of printing or other error, more prizes are claimed than the number of prizes set forth in these Official Rules, a random drawing will be held to award the advertised number of prizes in the relevant category. Under no circumstances will more than the advertised number of prizes be awarded.
PUBLICITY & MARKETING: Submission of an entry and participating in the Event constitutes permission to the Sponsor to use entrants’ name, identity, title, likeness, distinctive appearance, physical likeness, image, portrait, picture, photograph (whether still or moving), screen persona, voice, vocal style, statements, gesture, mannerism, personality, performance characteristic, biographical data, signature, and any other indicia or imitation of identity or likeness for purposes of advertising and trade, in any medium, without further notice, approval, or compensation, unless prohibited by law. Submission of contact information in connection with this Event (whether or not required), including, without limitation, mailing address, phone number, and/or email address during entry constitutes permission for Sponsor to use entrant’s personal information for purposes of administration of the Event. You also may opt-in to be added to Sponsor’s customer database and to permit Sponsor to contact you in the future for promotional and other reasons. You may opt-out of receiving such communications as set forth in Sponsor’s Privacy Policy (located at www.redbull.com) or as provided within any such marketing materials (e.g., using the “Unsubscribe” feature provided in the footer of Sponsor’s e-mails). You understand that you are providing your information to Sponsor. The information you provide to Sponsor will only be used in accordance with Sponsor’s Privacy Policy.
NO LIABILITY & INDEMNIFICATION: By entering this Event, you agree to release, discharge and hold harmless Sponsor, Sponsor Affiliates, and their respective directors, officers, employees, agents and assigns (the “Released Parties”) from any claims, losses, and damages arising out of, or relating to, your participation in this Event or any Event-related activities (including, without limitation, the concert) and the acceptance and use, misuse, or possession of any prize awarded hereunder (including, without limitation, any misrepresentation made by you in connection with the Event; any non-compliance by you with these Official Rules; claims brought by persons or entities other than the parties to these Official Rules arising from or related to your involvement with the Event; acceptance, possession, misuse or use of any prize or participation in any Event-related activity or participation in this Event; any malfunction, error or other problem arising in connection with the collection, processing, or retention of entry information; or any typographical or other error in the printing, offering or announcement of any prize or winner). The foregoing includes, without limitation, any claim for personal injury, property loss or damage, or death arising in any way in connection with the Event.
OTHER TERMS: Decisions of Sponsor on all matters related to the Event are final and binding. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify the Event for any reason, including but not limited to, if fraud, misconduct or technical failures destroy the integrity of the Event, or if a computer virus, bug, or other technical problem corrupts the administration, security, or proper administration of the Event as determined by Sponsor, in its sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify or prohibit the participation of an individual if fraud or tampering is suspected, or if the individual fails to comply with any requirement of participation or with any provision in these Official Rules. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE OR UNDERMINE THE OPERATION OF THIS EVENT MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL & CIVIL LAWS. SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO DISQUALIFY AND/OR SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY INDIVIDUAL MAKING ANY SUCH ATTEMPTS TO THE FULL EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW.
GOVERNING LAW & MANDATORY ARBITRATION:
Any disputes arising under this Event and/or these Official Rules will be governed by relevant U.S. federal statutes and regulations and the internal laws of the State of California. Sponsor and each entrant agree that any such claim or dispute between the parties, or between a party and any agent, employee, successor, or assign of the other, related to this Event and/or these Official Rules (including the applicability of this arbitration clause) shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the JAMS under its rules and procedures in effect when the claim is filed. The rules and procedures and other information, including information on fees, may be obtained from JAMS’ website (www.jamsadr.com) or by calling JAMS at 949-224-1810. Any award by the arbitrator(s) may be entered as a judgment in any court having jurisdiction.
RIGHT TO DISQUALIFY: Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify or prohibit the participation of an individual if fraud or tampering is suspected; if the individual fails to comply with any requirement of participation or with any provision in these Official Rules; if the individual’s behavior or communication at any point is disruptive, may or does cause damage or to any person, property, or reputation of Sponsor, or is otherwise not in accordance with all applicable laws and generally accepted social practices as determined in Sponsor’s sole discretion.
SEVERABILITY: If any provision(s) of these Official Rules are held to be invalid or unenforceable, all remaining provisions hereof will remain in full force and effect.
