What is Red Bull Turn It Up?
Red Bull Turn It Up is an interactive crowd-judged DJ competition that uses themes to inspire track selection. DJs go head-to-head in three battles to win over the crowd with the most entertaining and creative mixes they can come up with on the fly.

When and where is Red Bull Turn It Up taking place?
Red Bull Turn It Up will be taking place in Aspen on Wednesday April 16, 2025 at Belly Up Aspen at 450 S Galena St #202, Aspen, CO 81611. The event will begin at 9:00 PM MT.

Who can compete in Red Bull Turn It Up?
Local DJs are hand selected by the Red Bull team and local curators to participate in the event.

How old must I be to attend Red Bull Turn It Up?
You must be 18+ to attend Red Bull Turn It Up.

How will the DJs be judged?
Red Bull Turn It Up is a crowd-judged event. DJs will be assigned a color, either Red or Blue, before beginning their round. Event guests will be provided wristbands upon entry that they will use to vote for their favorite crew by color.

How does a crew win Red Bull Turn It Up?
A DJ must win three battles and the final battle to win Red Bull Turn It Up. The event will cap off the annual Culture Shifters gathering in partnership with Burton Snowboards. The most party-starting DJ, as judged by crowd reaction, will select a represented non-profit organization who will receive resources to continue their work in access, representation and opportunity in the outdoors.

How are the themes selected?
Event themes are selected by local music curators ahead of the event taking place.

How long is each round?
Each round is 3 minutes long.

How many rounds are there?
Each battle consists of 3 rounds.

How many teams will be competing?
Four DJs from around the country will be competing in Red Bull Turn It Up. Click on the DJs tab at the top of the page to find out more about the crews competing.

Is there anything that I CAN'T bring into the venue?
No weapons, backpacks or anything larger than a clutch purse will be allowed in the venue.
