Neymar's favorite ball tricks

Neymar's skills for juggling the ball are pretty impressive. Watch him perform his 5 favorite tricks

1. The Pedalada
This trick will be a familiar one for fans of Brazilian soccer — and to many defenders who have found themselves on the wrong end of it. Probably the best exponent of the stepover in recent times was Robinho, the former Real Madrid forward and one of Neymar Jr's favorite soccer players.
2. The Elastico
This one will come as no surprise to those who followed Barcelona in the Champions League this season. Neymar demonstrated the Elastico in the heat of battle against Arsenal in the first leg of their tie in February.
3. Freestyle
Neymar is one of the most creative players on the planet — of course he likes to add a little impromptu freestyle to spice things up on the field. This looks so casual you’ll want to try it for yourself.
4. Caretilla
The Caretilla was among the repertoire of tricks Neymar brought out of the bag in a famous and controversial game against Athletic Bilbao last year. To say that the Bilbao players were getting annoyed with Neymar’s virtuoso display would be the understatement of the year.
5. Canheta
This is one of the oldest tricks in the book for Neymar. There is footage of him performing it as far back as 2011, before he made his move form Santos to Barcelona. An oldie, but a goodie!
It’s time to step up your game: get your ball and start practicing now! Think your skills could impress Neymar? Just want the chance to meet him? Build your team and take part in Neymar Jr’s Five – a global five-a-side competition.
