Skateboarding means different things to different people and that's cool. In the end, diversity is what life is all about and skateboarding has never had more narrative strands running than those we see today.
The Pushing Forward series has previously sought to shine a light on other hot topics, such as who currently runs the skate industry and whether full-length videos had reached the end of the road.
Now, the series returns with a new season which drops in by looking at the looming presence of skateboarding's debut during the events in Tokyo next year.
We rolled out with Matt Bennett, Chris Nieratko, Samarria Brevard, Joey Brezinski, Ryan Decenzo and Jagger Eaton to ask how they see skateboarding at this juncture and what it means for the culture as a whole. Click the player above and join us next week for another new take on the issues brought alive by skateboarding's changing landscape.
