Boards and Bikes Bomb the Hills of San Francisco
Red Bull Steep Crest explored the thrills of racing down the streets of the City by the Bay.
Any bike rider or skater who has explored the streets of San Francisco has dreamt of unfettered access to the city's famous hills to bomb down them with no worry of cars or pedestrians in their way. The 2014 Red Bull Steep Crest event made it happen; on the famously-steep De Haro Street, the downhill competition included multiple disciplines: fixed gear, BMX, mountain bike, skateboard, and longboard.
The best of each discipline raced against each other in a bracket-style competition, with the fastest rider advancing to the next round. Check out some of the best of the bike action in the video above; scroll down for skateboard category highlights, as well as the crash reel.
