Pomona, California, USA played host to a spectacular event where a half-mile (800m) 'unwound' rhythm section was tackled by some of the world’s best supercross superstars, on board two-stroke machines, with a focus on mixing speed and rhythm to be crowned the king of Red Bull Straight Rhythm.
Watch all the action on demand right here:
After the two-stroke class was introduced at the event in 2017, it triggered a renewed love of the old days when these machines were raced in the 1990s and fans and competitors alike loved it.
Now in its sixth year, the gloriously simple format of Red Bull Straight Rhythm remains the same. Riders line up side-by-side and race straight down that half-mile track with no turns and full of tightly packed bumps and jumps.
