T1 is an esports organisation based in Seoul, South Korea, that’s excelled in a range of titles, including League of Legends (LoL), Valorant and Dota 2.
The team’s League of Legends outfit has achieved unparalleled success by winning multiple world championships spanning 2013, 2015, 2016 and 2023, solidifying T1's position as the most successful team in LoL history.
Originally known as SK Telecom T1, the organisation was established in 2003 as a collaboration between SK Telecom, a South Korean telecommunications company, and legendary StarCraft player, BoxeR (Lim Yo-hwan).
In 2019, US entertainment company Comcast Spectacor joined up with T1 to help take it to the next level, with the team being rebranded as T1 in the process.
