Most of us in the Northern hemisphere are looking forward to warming ourselves by the pool with a cocktail, and counting down the days to when we can don a down jacket and go in search of the white gold.
Pro riders generally have a shorter summer than the majority of us, typically spending less time on the beach and more time on snow. If a rider is injured on the other hand, rehabilitation is paramount. Here, we chat to a five riders to see what their summer plans consist of.

Billy Morgan Well, the winter season is over for me now. Since filming my end-of-season in Sölden, Austria, things have been pretty quiet, so it’s a good chance for me to get my body glued back together. Last week I was in Portugal for a surf trip with MBM magazine. It was pretty epic getting into the surfing thing – it's much harder than I thought it would be, but I'm getting it. Now that I’m addicted, I think I’ll head over to Bali on the way to NZ for their winter. Apart from that, I guess I'll be enjoying some sun, skating & socialising in the UK. Happy days.

Roope Tonteri I will be in Finland skateboarding a lot, and will go on some road trips. I also plan to go somewhere for summer riding but I am not sure where yet, possibly to NZ. It’ll be a pretty easy summer for me, just getting repaired for next season.

Seppe Smits This summer is all about surfing and getting my knee fixed! I'm heading out to Spain mid-June and will stay there for five weeks, then I'll head over to France for another four weeks in the water. Next, I'm flying out to Bali for two weeks to surf a bit more, and to end it all I'm going to Cuba with my girlfriend and the family!

Jamie Nicholls I'll be going on a beach holiday to the Maldives, and also to Majorca chilling with the family and friends from back home. I will try to ride the indoor fridges as much as possible back home as well.

Wojtek Pawlusiak I'm planning to go to Croatia with Marc Swoboda and our girls for a little holiday.Then I want to stay at home, renovate the basement in my family house, and work around the garden. In between, I will ride my dirt bike and snowboard at Dachstein as much as possible. Hopefully I’ll make a trip to Les Deux Alpes as well.
