You might know him as Kid Gold Bricks or as Luke Davis The Grey, or maybe you've seen a kid with brightly coloured hair but never the same shade twice. Maybe you've heard he had a famous girlfriend, or still has famous friends, or whatever. How's about we allow the real Luke Davis to please stand up, and do some explaining for his intelligent, captivating and hifi self.

Where are you right now? I'm currently on a road trip in South Africa. (See above.)
Have you been in the ocean today? Yup. Twice. My legs are sore. What did you do in the ocean? Dropped into a bunch of rights and tried to go fast,
What is your weapon of choice? 5'9" x 18.32" x 2.13" Taj model ...Lost Surfboards. Shaped by Mayhem himself.
What was your local beach growing up? I'm from San Clemente, a little beach town in southern Orange County that's home to everyone's local surf spot "Lowers". I spent a lot of time surfing T-Street when I was young; it's definitely the most user-friendly and consistent wave around.
What are the words you try and live by? Live in the present.
Where have you never been but want to go? Why? I really want to surf in Namibia. They have some of the longest most perfect waves in the world.
Do you read the comments on your posts? Yup. They entertain me. What was your favourite magazine when you were in high school and why? Any surf mag, so I could check out the Reef girls.
Who was your favourite surfer in the 90s? Ryan Simons.
Reefs or beachbreaks? F**k that's a hard one. That's like choosing between blondes and brunettes. What about a wave that goes from reef and ends on sand? I'll take that!
Cocktails in the club or beers at a BBQ? Soda water and Purps burning holes in the dance floor.
What are you doing as soon as you've finished with this? Eating a home cooked chicken dinner with veggies.
