Let's assume most people reading this story have heard the name Tom Pagès before. If not, the introduction of Pagès's latest video project called HOMEWORX is good homework for those who don't yet know the French FMX legend.
The Yamaha rider has done it all and his freestyle motocross career has been a true roller coaster over the past decade. His ups and downs contain winning the biggest competitions, throwing down world firsts in very unexpected situations and a career stop from that he came back from to revolutionize the sport. On many levels Pagès raised the bar to a level that for most world class riders is still out of reach. After his fourth consecutive win at the Red Bull X-Fighters in Madrid with an unbelievable performance, he demonstrated once again that he is without a doubt the best FMX rider on the planet.
As Pagès is always busy working in the foam pit developing new tricks, it took quite some time to finish his video project called HOMEWORX.

The two-minute clip might be a bit short, but what's shown in one compact line is the unbelievable work of three years developing new tricks one after another and perfecting signature tricks for this one line. It's pretty much the top 10 of Mr. Pagès's arsenal, which he combined in a truly amazing line that he designed for it on his compound to showcase the tricks in the most aesthetic environment possible.

Tom did not handle this project any differently to how he does his trick development. He put all his creativity into it and was deeply involved in everything from building the setup to taking decisions in the post-production on the smallest details. He put all his passion into this video and his efforts have not been any lower than preparing for Madrid and delivering a flawless run for his fans in Las Ventas.
I wanted to realize this on a perfect spot, where I could realize a setup with ideal conditions for the tricks and where the surrounding fitted my style.
"In competition, there is the show, the public enthusiasm, the other riders who also show incredible performances, but we are a group that works for the crowd and if I cannot deliver another rider will and the show goes on," Pagès explained. "It was totally different for HOMEWORX. It was all about me and if I failed doing this line, there was nobody to cover that."
