Lake Allatoona, northern Georgia

Allatoona Lake is located in the northwestern part of Georgia in Bartow and Cherokee counties. Primarily managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, this lake extends across more than 12,000 acres and has become an ideal spot for wakeboarders. Its shoreline is studded with marinas ready to cater to your every wakeboarding and boating need. These marinas form hubs with inviting restaurants to make your off-water experience almost as satisfying as wakeboarding itself.
Lake Allatoona also offers several campsites and cabins where you can spend the night under the stars. The next day, you can wake up and dive right into hours of wakeboarding fun. Adding to the lake’s allure is its close proximity to Terminus Wake Park, a water sports complex with a full wakeboarding cable system. The complex also features an aqua park with an inflatable obstacle course, giving you an extra bit of adventure.
