Sarah Hendrickson wind tunnel training
Watch as rising ski-jump star Sarah Hendrickson learns to hones her technique in a wind tunnel.
Sarah, 19, is one of the USA's brightest medal hopes for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia. We accompanied her during her first training session in a wind tunnel at Ogden, Utah. Check out the video above to see how she got on.
Sarah was born and raised in Park City, where the US Ski Jumping Team are based. She also comes from a family of ski jumpers, both her brother and father compete in the sport. It's hardly surprising that she is proving to be such a talent.
The training session in the wind tunnel allowed Sarah's coach the opportunity to stand alongside her and offer instant feedback on her positioning, something that is just not possible out on the slope.
Looking rather like someone from the future and backed by a team of technical experts, Sarah was able to analyse the impact of every tiny aspect of her body position to help her improve her aerodynamics.
Sarah clearly had a great time tweaking her technique in the tunnel and left full of enthusiasm to try out what she'd learned back in the outside world:
Had an awesome time playing at the wind tunnel this morning with Red Bull! Thanks so much for hooking it up :)
