Watch Gallant Perform 'Weight in Gold' Live
The Grammy-nominated rising star performs his breakout hit with a live in-studio performance.
It's safe to say 2016 was a good year for Gallant. He's risen to become one of R&B's hottest stars with the release of his debut album "Ology" and a run of major festival performanceswhere he showcased a one-of-a-kind stage presence and, of course, his trademark falsetto.
To top off a breakthrough year, "Ology" was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Urban Contemporary album — a major accomplishment for a debut record.
Much of that success is thanks to "Weight in Gold." The lead single off "Ology" became a veritable indie smash and has made fans out of legends like Elton John and Seal, who each joined him to perform the song live this year.
