The X Games are THE place to win for any rider in any action sport – and the addition of a Norway edition doesn't decrease the pressure. An X Games medal is an X Games medal, so the stakes were as high as ever in Hafjell.
Confronted with additional challenges, such as a slopestyle course that was running slowly and therefore making it more difficult to clear the jumps, and significant differences in the light and snow levels between training during the day and comps at night, the skiers and snowboarders had to dig deep to showcase their best.
