YOU HAVE SPOKEN! The votes have been tallied and the iconic CAPE TOWN CIVIC CENTER will be unlocked for one epic day of skateboarding and discovery, voted by the public, starring some of the best skaters on the planet.

Red Bull Spot Check Cape Town brings together the world’s best skaters and the local community to unlock some of Cape Town’s iconic street spots. The public voted on where the final showdown would take place. The team and local skate community will skate 4 spots across the city in “cash-for-tricks” jams, before ending with a major demo and community session at the Civic Center.

What is Red Bull Spot Check?

Red Bull Spot Check is an event which brings together some of the world's best skateboarders at iconic spots chosen by the public. Expect packed demos and a final Open Best-Trick Jam session!
The action kicks off November 9, 2025 at 12:00 at Baseline Skate Shop. If you want to enter the jam session, don't forget your board!
