@supapiet - His Twitter handle says it all. Pieter du Preez is something of a super athlete. The actuarial analyst from Johannesburg became the first quadriplegic athlete in the world to complete an Ironman.
Piet completed the 3,8km swim, 180km bike and 42,2km run in 13 hours and 24 minutes in Busselton, West Australia.
‘Super Piet’, who is an ambassador for Wings for Life, is a C6 quadriplegic, which means he can only move his head, shoulders and arms. Piet will be at the Wings for Life World Run this coming Sunday 4 May,
