The Wings for Life World Run, the world’s largest running event, returns in 2026, with registration now open. On Sunday 10 May 2026 at 12:00 GMT, hundreds of thousands of people around the world will start running at exactly the same time in a unique global race.
There is no traditional finish line. Instead, 30 minutes after the start, the Virtual Catcher Car sets off and steadily increases its pace. When it catches you, your race is complete.
Whether you run, jog or roll in a wheelchair, the event is open to everyone. Participants simply run as far as they can before the Catcher Car catches them.
Best of all, 100% of entry fees and donations go directly to funding spinal cord injury research.
