About
Nikola Tsolov is a Bulgarian racing driver, noted for his rapid rise and record-breaking performance in the junior categories. He began karting in Bulgaria at a young age, quickly establishing his pace on the international stage. His career trajectory has been defined by his dominance in the lower ranks, culminating in a Spanish Formula 4 title and a strong performance in the FIA Formula 3 Championship. His debut season in Spanish Formula 4 in 2022 was record-breaking, yielding 13 victories and the overall Championship title. This dominant streak continued into his third year in the FIA F3 Championship, where he secured the overall Vice-Champion title in 2025.

Early Carrer
Tsolov began his competitive career in karting, where he quickly moved to the Italian championships and secured his first major continental success by winning the WSK Open Cup in the 60 Mini class in 2019. He concluded his karting tenure driving for Fernando Alonso’s team, securing a second-place finish in the WSK Final Cup in the OK category in 2021.
He made his single-seater debut in the winter F4 UAE Championship in 2021. For his first full season in 2022, he entered the Spanish F4 Championship with Campos Racing, a collaboration that would later become a key part of his career. This debut F4 campaign saw him set a formidable record of 15 pole positions and 17 fastest laps, demonstrating unparalleled single-lap speed.
The following year, Tsolov moved up to the FIA Formula 3 Championship in 2023 with the ART Grand Prix team. This rookie season was a dedicated learning experience as he adapted to the new car and competitive level

2024 Season
Tsolov returned to the FIA Formula 3 Championship for his second year, continuing with ART Grand Prix. He made a significant step up in performance by securing his first three victories in the series, including his maiden Feature Race win in Budapest. This breakthrough campaign resulted in an improved final standing of 11th in the overall Drivers' Championship. Following these strong results and breakthrough performances, Tsolov was invited to join the Red Bull Junior Team ahead of the 2025 season.

2025 Season
The 2025 season marked Tsolov’s crucial transfer back to Campos Racing, the team with whom he won his F4 title, competing as a new member of the Red Bull Junior Team. This strong combination delivered a title-challenging campaign, securing two race victories and a total of six podium finishes. His season was highlighted by a dominant Feature Race win in Monaco, which gave him his fifth career victory and set a new all-time record for the most wins by a single driver in the history of the FIA Formula 3 Championship. Tsolov concluded the year as the Vice-Champion (2nd overall) in the Drivers' Championship.

Outlook
Following his runner-up position in the 2025 FIA Formula 3 Championship, Tsolov was handed an early debut in the FIA Formula 2 Championship for the final two rounds of the season, stepping in for Pepe Martí. This provided him with crucial experience ahead of his full campaign.
He is confirmed to compete in the 2026 FIA Formula 2 Championship as a Red Bull Junior Team driver, continuing his collaboration with Campos Racing, the team with whom he secured both his Spanish F4 and F3 Vice-Championship titles.
