The Åre Bike Festival took place last weekend, bringing the Åre Video Challenge back with it for a revival after having been tucked away for two years. In short, that was really awesome news for those of us who remember Martin Söderström's epic Team Douche video back in 2012.
Five teams had five days to shoot and edit bangers in the Åre bike trails, treating the crews to rain storms and cold weather but also some sunny skies and midnight sun.
After screenings before a jury of five and a pumped crowd of 750, one entry came out on top. Team Whiteout's The Game, featuring Anton Thelander and Nicholi Rogatkin in an epic ’80s game setting produced by Åre-based Whiteout Pictures.
