Red Bull GmbH was founded in Austria by Dietrich Mateschitz in 1984. On April 1, 1987, Red Bull Energy Drink was launched in Austria. A new product category was born: Energy Drinks!
Soon, Red Bull was bringing wiiings to more and more countries worldwide – over 175 today – as well as expanding choices by introducing versions without sugars and releasing Red Bull Editions.
