People play FIFA 20 for various reasons - but the one true goal has to be to win, right? Unless you're insanely talented or just play a lot, you need to have good players available in your team to win. In Career Mode and Ultimate Team people might also pick their favorite players, players from their own country or pick players for some other reason just to give it a more personal feel.
Scandinavians love their football, and football love their Scandinavians - with a bunch of extremely gifted and famous players in the best leagues possible out there. Here are the best Scandinavian footballers at the get go, with the highest initial overalls. Note: not the best Potential Rating.

Christian Eriksen - Tottenham

The king of the Scandinavians in FIFA 20 - at least if you look at the rating. Eriksen is the midfielder every club in the world wants. You'll be crazy if you don't want him in your team. With excellent Dribbling and Passing, this Dane is at his best just behind the striker(s). Feeding the ball to those who scores. Or he can just shoot the ball into the net himself, as he definitely is a solid goal threat with a SHO of 81. With high ratings in both Skills and WeakFoot - this great Dane is a force to be reckoned with.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic - LA Galaxy

The man, the myth, the legend. Ibracadabra, Ibra, The Big Man, will always be (in the eyes of the Swedes at least) the King of Scandinavian football. Not as highly rated as in earlier FIFA's but - Zlatan is still a great striker with an 85 Overall. A very physical presence on the field with high ratings in Aggression, Strength and Positioning he is the ideal target man for a team that whips in those long balls or crosses from the flanks. With his excellence in shooting and heading, Zlatan will get you goals. No doubt about it.

Kasper Schmeichel - Leicester City

Just like his father, Peter Schmeichel, Kasper is a great goalkeeper. This Dane is a veteran in the English top-flight. With his 189cm he is perhaps not the biggest of goalies out there, but he makes up for it with a high rating in Reactions, arguably the most important stat for a goalkeeper in FIFA. If you can convince the Foxes to let him go, you'll have a solid piece to guard your goal.

Rune Almenning Jarstein - Hertha BSC

With the same Overall as the former goalkeeper, Jarstein is a solid choice to pick to guard your sticks. Maybe not the most household name among the group, this Norwegian should be looked at if you're leaking goals, and don't have a ton of money. High ratings in Reactions and Strength, Jarstein has a lot to offer for many clubs.

Emil Forsberg - Red Bull Leipzig

The little magician Emil Forsberg is a treat for almost every team. A natural offensive midfielder with equal the skills to play on both wings, the versatility helps him slot into many sides that are in need of some goals. Great ratings in Dribbling and Passing, this Swede will set up your strikers to work some wonders. Ball Control and Short Pass are Emil's strongest stats.

Thomas Delaney - Borussia Dortmund

The Danish defender Thomas Delaney has proven himself useful to Dortmund. No wonder really, as he is a versatile and a rock solid choice at the back. Defensive and Physically he is a beast, with 83 and 82 respectively. He is left-footed and can play on both flanks as a full-back. His preferred choice is CB though. Is your team bad defensively? Well, you know what to do!

Simon Kjaer - Atalanta

Another Dane, another solid defender. Simon Kjaer seems to have been around since forever, and that is positive for a defender. Maturity. Interceptions, Stand Tackle and Aggression are Kjaer's highest stats. You should play him as one of the two CBs where he can dominate in front of the goalkeeper.

Victor Lindelöf - Manchester United

If you need a defender - buy Lindelöf. It's easy as that. With a potential rating of 87 he just might be one of the best defenders in the game. But what a player he is already. High ratings in Defense and Physical, as is expected of a top defender, this Swede is also quite decent in Pace, Passing and Dribbling - and he's good with his Weak Foot as well! At 24 years old Lindelöf is still a young player with top potential.

Yussuf Poulsen - Red Bull Leipzig

Another RB Leipzig player - Yussuf Poulsen is one of those mercurial strikers that can score a goal from almost nothing. He is very fast, very physical and an all round striker with decent stats in everything except defending. He should be played as a target man to spearhead your attack. With his Pace he's also good on the counter.

Martin Odegaard - Real Sociedad

One of Norway's brightest stars, Martin Odegaard, has lit La Liga up this season. An overall rating of 80 at the young age of 19 is pretty good. This Norwegian is accomplished at playing in midfield, offensive midfield and on the wings. Very versatile. Passing and Dribbling is his game and with a potential of 87 he'll only get better. A must buy for anyone who needs a versatile midfielder with the potential to be a superstar. Oh, and did we mention he's got five stars in Skills?
