How It Works

Participate online in the engaging and efficient application process and show us your best idea. There are no limits – submit as many ideas as you like!

Participate online: Show us your best idea and video pitch

As a team of one or two people, innovators can use the form below to submit their idea. Don't have an idea? Use the AI application tool to inspire one and accelerate your submission. Once you've completed the form, click 'submit' and enter the requested information. Applications close on October 27th, 2024 at 11:50pm Pacific Standard Time. Then, up to 60 of the top teams will be asked to record a one-minute video pitch. This is an opportunity to elaborate on your idea and show us your passion.

Meet Us at the National Final

The top 10 ideas will meet us at MIT Media Lab in November for the Red Bull Basement USA National Final, where innovators will pitch to a local panel of judges.

Take Off

The winner of the National Final will be invited to represent the USA at the World Final in Tokyo, Japan in December.
