The racing portion of Red Bull Barn Find Open is designed for adult riders with eligible motorcycles that fit within one of the event classes. Riders should review the class requirements before registering.
The first 100 to register get an exclusive ride experience with Carson Brown on Friday!
No. The event is built around having fun and celebrating motocross culture. Riders should be comfortable operating their motorcycle on a motocross track and able to safely participate within their selected class.
If it’s old, unusual, forgotten, garage-built, or just too much fun to leave sitting around, there may be a class for it.

Riders may enter multiple eligible classes provided their motorcycle meets the requirements for each class and the event schedule allows.
Yes. Camping is available at Oak Ridge MX,
The scored race competition is focused on adult riders. Youth riding opportunities may be offered separately from the official race competition. Kids participating in these activities will not be part of race scoring or awards.
The Run What You Brung class is intended to keep things fun, accessible, and true to the spirit of Barn Find Open. Bikes entered in this class are subject to the event’s $3,000 marketplace claim rule. Full claim procedures and eligibility requirements will be outlined in the official race rules.
Yes. Carson Brown will be part of the weekend, bringing his love of old bikes, unusual builds, and having fun on just about anything with two wheels.
Friday is the kickoff to the weekend, including the VIP Ride with Carson for the first 100 riders to register online, pit activity, the swap meet, hangout opportunities, and additional programming leading into Saturday’s racing.
Saturday is race day, with rider registration, riders meeting, practice, racing across the event classes, awards, and additional activities throughout the day.
Yes. Riders and fans can check out the swap meet as part of the weekend. Bring the parts, gear, bikes, and moto treasures that deserve another life.
Trophies will be awarded to the top three finishers in each race class. There are no cash prizes.
Event competition and safety procedures will follow applicable AMA rules and requirements. Riders should review the final registration and race rules for specific licensing, membership, equipment, and eligibility requirements.
Riders must wear appropriate motocross safety equipment and comply with all event, track, and applicable AMA safety requirements. Motorcycles may be subject to technical inspection before being allowed on track.
Yes. Red Bull Barn Find Open is designed to be just as much fun to watch as it is to race. Come out for the racing, bikes, swap meet, personalities, and surprises throughout the weekend.
No. You don’t have to race—or even own a bike—to come experience Red Bull Barn Find Open.

Riders should bring their motorcycle, required riding and safety gear, tools and spare parts, and anything needed for the weekend. Spectators should come ready for a full day outdoors at a motocross track.
Motocross and weather go hand in hand. Event organizers will monitor track and weather conditions and communicate any schedule changes necessary for rider and spectator safety.
There’s no single definition. It might be a bike that has been sitting in the garage for years, an old race bike brought back to life, a marketplace score, a vintage two-stroke, or something you built from a pile of parts. If it has a story, we want to see it.
