See Cam Zink's Best Trick-Winning Rampage 360 Drop
Watch the insane 360 drop that earned Cam Zink the Best Trick award at Red Bull Rampage 2014.
While Cam Zink landed in second place at Red Bull Rampage 2014, the progressive rider who continually pushes the rest of the field out of their comfort zone managed to do it yet again in 2014. For his efforts, he picked up another $5,000 check for the Best Trick award, presented by the Utah Sports Commission.
As he often does, Zink called his trick from day one of building — he would spin a 360 off a massive drop in the middle of his run. The drop — which measures between 30 and 40 feet — had a flat take-off and a super steep landing, enabling Zink to absorb the impact of the free fall smoothly ( watch Cam's POV run here).
While Semenuk spun 360s both ways during his two runs, several riders threw flips over the 72-foot canyon gap, and Strait was able to suicide-no-hander the 76-foot drop, it was clearly Zink’s 360 that deserved the win.
