Top 6 skate shops in Atlanta
To help you get connected and find what you need for your ride, below are six of the best skate shops in and around Atlanta.
Whether on the street or at the rinks, skating is woven into Atlanta’s community and culture. For decades, generations of skaters have hopped on their boards or tied up their laces to express themselves through their tricks and threads. People often gather at skate parks and rinks, especially on Friday nights, to glide to the sounds of upbeat music or shred their wheels on the concrete.

For about as long as skating has been a regular activity, skate shops have been stocked with gear for skaters. Aside from their shelves, these shops employ individuals whose love for the sport keeps skaters coming back – for more than boards and wheels. The feeling of community runs through these places. Gearing up where equipment and community meet
Skate shops help keep the wheels spinning on Atlanta’s sidewalks and skate park ramps. They’re not just stores selling merchandise. They’re hubs of knowledge from skaters who are as passionate about welcoming and mentoring other skaters as they are about the activity itself. If you’re looking for a place to grab gear and get some friendly company, there are several places across the Atlanta area ready to welcome you in.
