What happened during the Fortnite Season 10 event?
Fortnite's Season 10 has just finished. But what really happened during the event? The most controversial event in that Epic Games has ever done has raised some questions amongst the fans.

If you got the chance to participate in the event that marked the closing of Season 10 and the beginning of Season 11 - due to extremely high attendance, many players couldn't even log into the game - your world probably turned upside-down. Literally. If you were lucky enough to join the event you saw that the world that revolves around Fortnite came to an end. How you ask? Well, the event started with a teamfight mode called "The End". Ominous, right?
After the countdown finished, a rock launched into the air and cracked the sky. A bunch of blue capsules came out of the crack and wreaked havoc upon the world, making explosions and caused players to go boom. The final touch was a meteor that came surging down, doing what meteors do best, making an explosive impact that sucked everything into the fiery void that was left. It began with items being sucked into the explosion, then eventually the world itself. Then nothing. Darkness. Silence. A black screen with a wormhole in the middle. The only option an exit button. When you logged out and back in again - the same screen. No play, nothing.
The screen stayed like this. Players began to panic, thinking that the world really was gone. That Epic Games really pulled the plug. After all, Season 10 divided players, many believing that Epic Games were out of ideas. After all, there was signs that the end was near. A rocket being built at Dusty Depot, the comeback of The Visitor, time distortions, tweets from the developers announcing "the end". You can imagine the speculations from the fans. Luckily, it all was part of the re-launching of Fortnite - the start of Chapter 2. Rejoice!
Chapter 2 was launched and players could finally log in to the game after almost two days of wormholes and black screens. The players were welcomed by being dropped straight into a solos game, while being told some of the new features. The Chapter 2's updates and new features are, at the time of writing, still pretty vague and underwhelming. All part of the mystery perhaps? We are told that there are going to be 13 new locations, fishing is a part of the game, new medals and some other minor updates. So far, Chapter 2 haven't really delivered any epic changes yet - but this writer believes that it's just a matter of time before things are going to change. Chapter 2 is going to be awesome.
