What is Red Bull Homerun?

Is it your first time tackling Red Bull Homerun? Then there are a few things you probably should know about.
The race begins with a masstart run. All competitors are lined up side-by-side and, once the start signal sounds, sprint across a field full of snow obstacles to their skis or board. Then it's time to strap into the gear and set off down the marked route: a mix of steep pistes, high-speed corners as well as flatter cat track sections. The race finishes once the racers have passed through the Red Bull arch at the bottom, by Timmerstugan.

What happened at Red Bull Homerun last year?

Red Bull Homerun 2025 was one of extremes - the day offered the bluest bluebird sky ever seen, and the course had the least snow ever witnessed. As Red Bull Homerun descended upon Åre, Sweden, for its annual Easter takeover, the vibes were high and the temperatures even higher. Sun pits, sunscreen, and sunglasses were everywhere on the mountain, and pond skimming became the latest and greatest activity - well, after Red Bull Homerun, of course.
Surprisingley, two first-time participants, Arvid Gustavsson and Vildis Edwinsdottir, took the win in the snowboard category, while seasoned competitors Emil Nyberg and Ella Larsson claimed victory in the ski division.
The prestigious Best Dressed prize went to the hottest vibes on the mountain - the Midsummer gang (Marcus Ahlström, William Larsson, Viktor Styrman and Alexander Rydén).
