Bnet, aka Javier Bonet González, triumphed over Colombia's Valles-T with a rap style characterised by architectural metrics and paused rhythm.
An elated Bnet, 21, talked to us right after the competition: "I came as a substitute and left as a champion! Red Bull Batalla de los Gallos has always been the competition on top of everyone's mind from the beginning. When there was no freestyle, Red Bull was the only thing. Red Bull was everything."

The International Final saw 16 of the most talented global freestylers representing 11 Spanish-speaking countries perform at the WiZink Center in Madrid, Spain, before a crowd of 17,000 fans. The event was the culmination of more than 35 regional competitions in Latin America, Spain and USA. The International Final sold out in 24 hours and around 2m fans watched online.
With Mbaka and Queen Mary hosting and Zone DJing, hip-hop legends Arkano (2015 world champion), Dtoke (2013 world champion), Jony Beltrán (Mexico's two-time champion), Maikel Delacalle (talented rap musician) and Omega (God Level’s contest organiser) scored the MCs on the technique, flow and originality of their performances.
