Red Bull will be hosting the Red Bull Box Cart Race in Sandton on 4 October 2026.
This edition, being hosted in the streets of Sandton, will require a pre-event build period to erect various structures necessary for the accommodation of spectators and the track. Build-up will commence from Tuesday, the 29th of September and run to the 3rd of October.
Breakdown along the road ways will commence immediately post the event on the 4th of October and all will be complete by the 7th of October.
On event day, the event activities are due to take place from mid-morning and all will be complete by 18h00, and as such, please expect some amplified noise between these times.

Traffic in the immediate area will be managed by JMPD Traffic Officers to ensure the safety of all attending. The following temporary road closures will be in place:
