Before you kick start your creative minds, download the manual below to get all the important information you need for your application.
To complete and submit your application, you’ll need the following information:
- A photo including all four members of your team (this can be a group/team photo or a montage of four individual photos)
- A short bio telling us why you should be selected to take part (max 100 words)
- The name of your Soapbox
- A sketch of your Soapbox design
- Dimensions/measurements of your Soapbox in metres
- Any additional files or materials to support your application
- List of materials you will be using to create your Soapbox

RED BULL SOAPBOX RACE IS MEANT TO BE AN ENJOYABLE DAY OUT FOR BOTH PARTICIPANTS AND SPECTATORS, BUT THERE IS CLEARLY AN ELEMENT OF RISK INVOLVED IN GOING DOWNHILL ON A NARROW WINDING ROAD WITH A NUMBER OF JUMPS & OBSTACLES ALONG THE WAY.

Teams Selection
Once the applications are in, it’s time for the judges to do their jobs! There are only 60 places for the race so teams will need to put their all into their designs. All applicants will be notified by 16th March 2026 whether they’ve been lucky enough to bag a spot to take on the infamous course.
Building Starts
If you have been chosen, it’s time to turn those crazy ideas into your Soapbox reality! You will receive further instruction and information from us by email. Ready, set, go!
