#33 Souta Arao (JAP - Mygale Renault)

  • French F4 Championship position: 2nd – 140 points – after 12 of 21 races

#15 Yuto Nomura (JAP - Mygale Renault)

The 16-year-old Japanese drivers Yuto Nomura and Souta Arao contesting the French F4 championship have still been working in the break since Spa at the end of July.

Arao keen to see how the track matches the sim

“It has been quite a break since Spa, there was time for simulators, but Lédenon is not on the Red Bull sim.
Quotation
I had the impression that the bumps were very difficult to drive in the non Red Bull simulator.
“The first sector is very peculiar and I am looking forward to it.”

“The most difficult sector is the final sector. I think I can drive fast if I can get rid of the Gs before entering the corner. In the simulator it looks as though if I can't, I can't drive fast through that section.”

Nomura refreshed and ready

“I have had a month to refresh myself from the last Spa race and prepare for Lédenon. I've also been practicing on the FFSA sims as well.”

“I practiced on the sims at Red Bull, but there was no Lédenon circuit, so I practiced at the Barcelona circuit instead. Barcelona has many different types of corners that require driving skills, so it was a good practice.”
Quotation
Lédenon has sections that are very up and down. I'm looking forward to it.
“The final corner is very tricky and after that it's a straight climb, so I think that corner is the hardest and very important.”
